SUMMARY: This Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is a full-time, salaried, supervisory and direct service position. The LCSW provides supervision to a team of case management staff as well as clinical services in a residential program focused on facilitating the successful transition of program participants from prison into society. Program services are holistically designed to address the physical, emotional, social, occupational and mental health needs of the target service population in compliance with RRC/FBOP standards and requirements.

Our Facility: Since its inception, Riverside House has been located in a residential neighborhood in central Miami with easy access to public transportation at 968 NW 2nd Street. Throughout our 40+ years of operation, we have expanded from our original building to our current three-building campus with a capacity to house 80 men and women. Our building facilities include administrative offices, group classrooms, training rooms, as well as designated areas for recreation, visitation, dining, laundry, and chapel services.
LCSW license that is in “good standing” from the Florida Department of Health for at least 5 years
Minimum of five (5) years supervisory experience in a social work setting and has
Previous work experience with clients presenting social service needs similar to those of the client population served by this program
Bilingual (English and Spanish) to meet the needs of the target population
Able to work on a flex-time schedule to properly monitor services in a residential setting
Strong communication skills (oral and written) and works well using a team approach
Basic mathematical skills
Basic computer skills, includinginternet, spreadsheets, word processing, and database software
Ability to sit for long periods, talk, and hear
Ability to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
Ability to work continually in an indoor environment with a moderate noise level
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides direct supervision of case management staff on a regularly scheduled basis
Audits case management files to ensure that all documentation and services are in alignment with best practices, completed in the required time frame, and in compliance with the RRC/FBOP programmatic requirements. This includes: client orientation, individual assessments, bio-psychosocial evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes and discharge summaries.
Supervises case managers with the family reunification process
Coordinates peer consultations and review
Administers in-service training to case management staff · Implements the Cognitive Behavioral Programming Model in compliance with RRC/FBOP standards
Facilitates weekly substance abuse prevention support group and transitional skills classes
Oversees training for case managers and staff in accordance with BOP requirements
Provides individual counseling to clients who are not eligible for these services off site or through other resources
Assists in the implementation of new programs for the clients
Crisis intervention as needed
Additional duties as assigned by the Executive Director or COO
